The Wall That Heals Fund-Raiser Pig Roast at White Pines
Saturday, June 8 | 5-11pm.
Proceeds from the fund-raiser will go to support "The Wall That Heals", the Traveling Vietnam Memorial and Museum that will be available for visitation at Bensenville's Redmond Soccer Field, June 20-23. The fund-raiser event, hosted by Bensenville Chamber of Commerce and Bensenville Community Foundation, will feature a delicious pig roast and live music performed by In Session. Civil War Weekend at Fischer Farm - Free Event!
Saturday, June 22, 10am-4pm & Sunday, June 23, 10am-3pm
Bring the whole family to the Civil War encampment at Fischer Farm. The sun over the treetops shines down on the men taking care of their horses, cleaning their weapons, and cooking their meals. The war that pitted family against family and brother against brother raged for just over four years. The costliest war in our nation’s history was arguably one of its defining moments. Walk with us into the early 1860s and see firsthand what the life of a soldier was like. Fischer Farm is located at 16W680 Old Grand Avenue.

Radio Days at Fischer Farm - Free Event!
Friday, July 19 | 1-3pm
Steve Darnall, host of the "Those Were the Days" Radio Program and editor of Nostalgia Digest, will discuss radio during the 1930s and 1940s including the popular shows, the performers, both the famous and not-so-famous. He will also play clips from various radio shows. Fischer Farm is located at 16W680 Old Grand Avenue.

Saturday, Aug 3 | 8am at Pines Park

Featuring camouflage t-shirts, post-race refreshments and the live band AARP!
Lunch and prizes immediately following the race.
Trophies and awards will be given to top finishers from ages 9-90 years old.
