Fischer Farm
Fischer Farm is believed to be one of the oldest remaining homesteads in the county. The land just north of the cabin has been left untouched and is valued for its original seedbeds. This unchanged landscape is what settlers peered upon when they arrived in the area.
Bensenville Park District, in partnership with the DuPage County Forest Preserve, has been working to restore this property and land. We invite you to come and enjoy this piece of history so close to your home.

Fischer Farm is located just west of Church Road on Old Grand Avenue.
If you are a teacher, group leader or home school professional, the Bensenville Park District can help educate your group on a variety of topics. Locations include inexpensive field trips to Fischer Farm and the Deer Grove Learning Center or Outreach programs are available where a teacher will come to your class or group. Prices and timing are varied. Bussing options are available. Group size is optimum at 20 or less however can be adapted for larger groups if needed. Classes must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. Create a great experience for your child and their friends by reserving the farm for your child's next birthday. Each birthday will include a craft, game, simple decorations, tableware, napkins, plates, juice, and time to open gifts. Party times can vary but usually last 2 hours and are available for a maximum of 15 children ages 4-10. Parties are for children only. Final payment is due before the party. Parties must be canceled within four days to receive a full refund. There will be a fee for cancellations of less than four days.
