Live at White Pines – The Concert Series

Where: White Pines Golf Club & Banquets, 500 W Jefferson St., Bensenville
Free event! Featuring the band Optical Distortion. Optical Distortion fans are treated to an array of “greatest hits” music from across multiple genres. Join us for the summer concert series on 37 Bar & Grill’s patio. The concert series features live music on the last Friday of each month through the summer.

This event is on the heels of the Village of Bensenville’s Fall Community Yard Sale on September 23, 24, and 25. It’s time to clean out garages, closets, cabinets, and drawers. Obtain a free yard sale permit at Village Hall. For more information about the Community Yard Sale, call (630) 350-3413.
Bring those unused items to the Community Recycling Extravaganza at the Bensenville Park District. Collection items include electronics (fees apply), cell phones, eye glasses, American flags, medical equipment, bicycles, clothes and more. New this year! The Yesteryear Sweet Stand will have displays of old-time candy, pop favorites from the past, and fresh honey from the bees at Fischer Farm. Apple, pecan and pumpkin pies will also be for sale.
*A five dollar wristband available at Fischer Farm on the day of event will get your child one pumpkin (under twelve years old while supplies last), pony rides, and unlimited access to the petting zoo.
Pig Roast! Pulled pork sandwiches, bratwurst, burgers, hot dogs, and beverages are available for purchase.
In the case of inclement weather this event will be held on Saturday, October 22.

For ages 11-15, fee is $5 at the door. All dances have a cool theme which makes them totally memorable and unique so children are never bored! Kids have a blast taking photos and eating pizza, snacks, and sweets with their friends! Beverages are available too. Ecological Restoration and Stewardship Program Work Dates
Hundreds of hands for preservation! The Bensenville Park District has committed to the development of an Ecological Restoration and Stewardship Plan to restore and maintain the natural park areas and preserve our natural heritage throughout the District. Work dates are weather permitting.
