Building Healthier Minds and Healthier Bodies Out of School!
Lou Ann Chvatal has joined the BPD After School Program this fall and winter as a Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. Bensenville Park District received an Out of School Time Grant from the National Parks and Recreation Association in partnership with Wal-Mart that supports nutrition literacy, making healthy eating become part of our everyday “language.” While out of school, we’ll be finding fun ways to eat, move, and live healthier through cooking demos, games and more.
Registration for BPD Club will be done on a monthly basis. Participants beginning in August and continuously re-registering will hold their spot throughout the school year. This allows participants to choose the number of days that their children will attend per week, each month. Fees for August, December and March have been adjusted according to the number of weeks that will be attended during those months.
Current rates are found in the seasonal Bensenville Park District Program Guides. Discounts are available for families with multiple children that are registering.
