All classes are offered at the Deer Grove Leisure Center in the dedicated Dance Studio Room which features a spacious wood floor, full mirrors and mounted bars. Our talented instructors design the programs toward skill development, socialization and a group dance experience where every dancer excels. Dancers experience quality skill instruction in a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment that offers an annual Spring Dance recital.

The winter spring session is dedicated to rehearsing for our annual spring Dance Recital where students showcase their best moves! Everyone is invited to cheer them on.
Note: Recital costume fees are included in class registration fees.
Ticket Sales & Pricing: Begin March 11 at the Deer Grove Leisure Center. Tickets are issued on a first-come first-serve basis. Students will receive one free ticket regardless of how many classes they are in. Free tickets will be distributed to the performers with recital packets the week of March 18. Ages 3 and up $6 in advance, $8 at the door. Ages 2 and under are free. Children 2 and under must sit on an adults lap.
Dress Rehersal & Pictures: On stage Dress Rehearsal and group photographs are set for Saturday, May 4 at Fenton High School.
Dance Level Information
In order to help you choose the best class for your child, the School of Dance and Movement offers different levels for some classes. Expect to see more levels as we grow and expand our classes!
Pre-Classes Very basic introduction to dance. Ages range from 4-7 years.
Level I Classes Offer an introduction to a given style or styles of dance technique, class etiquette, and basic choreography. Ages vary. No previous dance experience required.
Level II Classes These classes offer an intermediate approach to technique, class etiquette and choreography. A slightly faster pace teaching style allows students to grow as a dancers and focus on technique, flexibility, strength, and style. Dancers retain and perform skills and routines, and will be encouraged to express themselves through performance. Approximate ages: 7-14 years. No previous dance experience required but recommended.
Level III Classes Students will be held more accountable to retain and perform skills and routines and will be encouraged to express themselves individually through performance. Approximate ages 8-15 years or with instructor approval. Previous dance experience is preferred.

Polish Folkloric Dance for Preschoolers
This high energy movement class is designed to introduce your Preschooler to Polish Folkloric Dance and Polish Culture. Our little dancers will learn the fundamentals of folk dancing through the use of props and musical games. This entry level class is an introduction to cheer, dance and tumbling!
